Kyle Duquette, LMFT
Kyle Lynn Duquette, founder and owner of Keweenaw Counseling Services PLLC, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 25 years experience as a professional coach and counselor. She has spent the past 15 years working in a variety of mental health venues including private practice, residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment for both adolescents and adults, behavioral health for children in the public school system, and children in the foster care system.
Kyle has worked extensively with child and adult survivors of trauma, grief and loss, substance abuse and chemical dependency, depression, anxiety, and relationship and family issues. Other areas of expertise include marital counseling, divorce, immigration issues, difficult life transitions and recovery from narcissistic abuse. It is her belief that every person entering therapy has the inherent ability to heal and thrive and that any problem can be lessened or eliminated with creativity and a positive attitude towards change.
Now working exclusively in private practice, Kyle uses a compassionate and non-judgmental approach that is client centered and spiritually, ethnically and culturally conscious, to help individuals and families heal from ordinary and extraordinary life stressors.
Art and play therapy are available for children and interested adults.
